Me and a co-worker frequent this spot when we’re in Merced. Great little hidden gem that does not disappoint. Good customer service and they always have a smile when taking your order. The area it’s in can be sketchy at night. All in all it’s a great little spot on the 59.
I stop by on Friday evening for dinner for the first time. I was so impressed by the selection of the menu. The portions are just right and the service was great. I almost failed to mention the prices are great.
Such an incredibly great family business, awesome food, wonderful people, I love coming here. I literally stop here on my way back as a truck driver, every single time I go to Fresno to get a load. They know me now and that me great and I can't recommend this place enough. Side note, the list below doesn't list everything they have so I'll recommend here... The Chile relleno plate, the sopes, carnitas and carne asada tacos and burritos are my usuals. I'm gonna try new things but those are my personal favorite

The main cook makes the absolute best plates! My girls absolutely love the staff! They treat us amazing! Although there is 1 lady there that can be kind of rude sometimes, (she has her days) but other than that every1 is amazing!
This little restaurant has exactly what I want. And that is enchiladas made with ground beef. Seems like in this little town I have a hard time finding that but not anymore. That I found on Mario's Taco shop. This will have to get my enchiladas for now on in this town of Merced California. And that's just one dish there there's so many others. Go find out for yourself
After driving all day I stopped there. The menu is appealing to the eye. Well I must be honest. The food there was by far the best I’ve had in a while. I got the tostada and and 2 flautas combo. Very delicious! My food was made with love. The person attending me was very attentive. I will be back there for sure.
